Jazz Band is an advanced ensemble open to 7th and 8th graders through audition only. Jazz Band plays very challenging music and strives for the highest musical achievement. Students who play in Jazz Band must be dedicated members of their concert band, demonstrate a commitment to practice outside of school, and model exemplary behavior in the classroom. Auditions for Jazz Band are held in the fall.
Jazz Band members: please work on securing the following pieces of attire for the uniform:
-solid black dress pants or long skirt (may not be jeans or leggings. skirt should be knee-length or longer)
-solid black dress shoes (no sneakers, please)
-black belt
-solid black tall socks or tights
-solid black long-sleeved button down dress shirt
